Service Introduction

Since 2018, the Saudi Arabian Agency for Standards, Metrology and Quality (SASO) has mandated the requirement for IECEE certification for some electronic and electrical products. Products must provide valid CB certificates and reports to apply for SASO IECEE Certification (SASO IECEE Certification).

Scope of certification

● Mobile phones and accessories (chargers, Bluetooth earphones)

● Laptops, tablets, and accessories

● Mobile power bank, mobile phone battery

● Lighting fixtures and accessories

● Solar photovoltaic products

● Dishwasher

Electric water pump

● Television and display screen

● Smart Watch

● Electronic cigarette devices

Note: SASO plans to expand the mandatory scope of IECEE certification from July 1, 2021, to include 6 new categories of products.
